Go PUMA!! Mainstream media should stop assuming that all 18 million of Hillary's supporters will go for Obama.nObama all the way to November!!!!

I wish the mainstream media and DNC would stop assuming that this next election will follow past trends as far as the rate of defection from the party is concerned. I for one will not fall in line with the democrats simply for the sake of party unity. I applaud Puma and the just say no deal coalition for showing such strong resolve in not voting for the man who stole this primary election and ruined our chances for fixing the country over the next 4 years.

Ans just to be clear, my defection from the party is not simply out of bitterness for missing out on Hillary as the nominee, it is fueled from the deplorable handling of Florida and Michigan as well as the blind eye that was turned to the mainstream media's sexism. Besides, OBAMA IS NOT QUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It isn't too late for you superdelegates to change your mind either. Don't give this election to John McCain. Most polls showed during the primaries showed that if Hillary wasn't on the ticket in November an average of 30% of her supporters would not vote for Obama. If you assume that this rate carries through to November that means the democrats are giving up atleast 5.7 million votes(because I'm not counting the muc higher rtates of defection in the disenfranchised states of Florida and Michigan).

DNC, you can't expect to hijack an election for the nominee you prefer and expect the rest of us to fall in line when the principle of democracy was completely thrown aside!!!! Join the just say no deal coalition at justsaynodeal.com. We are already at 3 million strong so it would stupid of the DNC to assume that won't affect the general election with our numbers going up every day. WE may just reach the 30% of Hillary supporters who said they wouldn't vote for Obama. And there are so many undercover Pumas out there who will say they're going to vote for Obama and then go into the booth to vote for McCain in November. Just give Hillary the nomination so we can actually get to fixing America's problems and not have to wait for Mr. Obama to finish his four year boot camp training program on being an executive.

Obama shows his immaturity and lack of good judgement by flipping off Hillary at a recent North Carolina rally.

I was appalled when I saw this video of Obama giving Hillary the finger like a little fifth grader; trying to hide it by "scratching his cheek". I have lost all respect for him now. Where has your class gone Obama? I though you were trying to run a different kind of campaign. If you stoop to the level of fifth grader after having a bad debate it simply gives America another clue that you aren't mature enough to be in the White House because how will you handle a crisis when it doesn't go your way? If this doesn't help sway some superdelegates to Hillary I don't know what will. This is just another liability in a long laundry list that will inevitably hurt Obama in November if the Democrats are stupid enough to think he is the stronger candidate. How will most mature individuals in America respond to this? I don't know but if I were in that convention I wouldn't want to risk the Presidency with a nominee that has so many exploitable flaws.

Hillary Clinton Responds to New Attack Ad Released Today by the Obama Campaign

Hillary Clinton today responded to a new attack ad launched by Senator Obama’s campaign. Hillary made the following statement at a “Solutions for the America” event this afternoon in York, PA:

“I just heard that my opponent has put up an ad attacking my health care plan, which is kind of curious, because my plan covers everybody and his leaves out 15 million people – just leaves them out in the cold.

“Now, instead of attacking the problem, he chooses to attack my solution.

“I don’t think that we can just make speeches about this – we have to have a plan that we can actually implement that will provide quality affordable health care. That’s what I've been fighting for for 15 years, and that’s what I will fight for as your president.”

Get the facts here.

Sen. Obama is attacking Hillary Clinton about health care in a television advertisement with claims that have been widely discredited by experts.

1. The Obama ad claims that Hillary’s “plan forces everyone to buy insurance even if you can’t afford it.” Health policy expert Ken Thorpe reviewed this claim and found it to be false. Under Hillary's plan, everyone will be able to afford coverage.

"Ken Thorpe, a health-policy expert at Emory University who has advised all three major Democrats, said he ran cost estimates for the Clinton plan at the Clinton campaign's request, and found there should be enough money to make insurance affordable for all." [Wall Street Journal, 12/5/07]

2. The advertisement also claims that that Hillary's plan would make people who fail to enroll "pay a penalty." Sen. Obama's own plan would fine parents who fail to enroll their children and he has said he will consider imposing penalties on people who don't enroll.

Hillary would consider a range of ideas, including automatic enrollment, to ensure everyone is covered. Sen. Obama's plan, would, experts agree, leave 15 million people out.

3. The ad also claims that Sen. Obama's plan reduces costs more than Hillary's plan. There is no citation for this claim because it is false. Hillary's plan has more aggressive cost cutting measures and has more generous subsides. Because Sen. Obama's plan leaves 15 million people out, it would drive costs up, because everyone would have to subsidize emergency care for the uninsured.

5 Reasons why Hillary should be President instead of Obama.

I am a 22 year old college student and I was originally an Obama supporter because of his inspirational speeches for change but when I examined the speeches closer I discovered there was very little substance behind his rhetoric on the issues. SO, I found myself witha case of buyer's remorse and had to switch my allegiance to Hillary. So, while I understand the immense passion for change that has been ignited by Obama, it seems he simply needs more practicle experience before he takes on the most important job in the nation.Hillary is simply more qualified for the job. Obama simply needs to simmer in experience for a few years as vice president or senator and then he will be the perfect candidate. There are atleast ten issues Hillary has more experience with then Obama but I will merely mention five.
1. Hillary has immense foreign relations experience with her numerous overseas visits during many of the international conflicts of the 90's. These numerous trips also mean she has standing relationships with many of the international leaders that will be notable in upcoming peace negotiations. In addition, I must point out that during the 1st Clinton presidency we had a generally peaceful relationship with many world leaders. If Hillary is in the White House it means we get Bill back too. I can't imagine a better tagteam for healing the scars that Bush has created in our foreign relations. Obama has no experience in foreign relations. Thats not derogatory, it's simply a fact..
2. Hillary has much more experience with education reform as well. Her work in Arkansas led to tangible results: teacher salaries doubled, class size fell significantly, learning standards and assessments were implemented, and students were given much greater access to higher-level science and foreign-language courses. What is Obama's experience with education reform? Again, 0.
3. Hillary has the most comprehensive plan for Universal Health Care. It is so important that this country develop a plan for everyone in America.Hillary has that plan and I know she can get this plan moving when she is President. Hillary had the forsight to know we needed UHC when she was first lady and now Obama has a plan which is essntially a carbon copy of hers. How do we know he will be able to help negotiate it or enact it. Hillary's experienc in the Senate gives her connections to get things done. I don't know if Obama can and it scares me. As a student, health insurance is a large expenditure that is too much of a drain in this economy and if Hillary's plan doesn't go through I will be forced to move somewhere with a more progressive health care system that takes care of every citizen, like Britain or France.
4. Hillary has a history of supporting the environment. She was for the ratification of the Kyoto treaty, a viable solution that many industrailized countries supported when many nations around the world realized the severity of the global warming crisis. She supports the expanded production of hydrogen powered vehicles and fueling staions which support an industry that would have zero carbon emissions. These are a mere snapshot of her numerous experiences with many of the solutions for America's contribution to the current global warming crisis.
5.Lastly, Hillary can help bandage the wounds in our economy. When her husband was President we had a trade surplus and now we are trillions of dollars in debt. Hillary can take us towards a renewed sense of peace and prosperity in this country, SHe will fight for the middle class and the struggling student, and the unemplyes. She fights for everybody and that is why she deserves to be president.

Superdelegate asking for help in making her decision.

Deb Kozikowski, a Massachusetts superdelegate, has a post on the following web site:

http://ruralvotes.com/thefield/?p=1007

asking voters to give her reasons why she should support the candidate of their choice-- Senator Clinton or Senator Obama.
Please take a moment to add a comment and forward to fellow Clinton supporters and ask them to comment about why they support Senator Clinton and why Ms. Kozikowski should too. Make your voice heard and make a difference. Logic will prevail if enough of us tell her why Hillary should be nominated.

Last chance petition to seat Florida Michigan delegates.

Please sign this crucial petition to help protect the right of every voter to be equal in this process. Don't let the principles of democracy disintegrate simply for the interests of a few moral elitist democrats.

http://www.hillaryclinton.com/action/flmi/

This petition has been set up by Hillary Clinton's campaign and is sure to get the attention of the democrats at the convention. It already has over 100,000 signatures. Lets keep the crusade for a fair democratic vote in our sights and never forget that the government is nothing without the people.

Superdelegate Primary: better to decide sooner then later. Gov Phil Bredsen hinting at Clinton endorsement.

Today, Governor Phil Bredsen of Tennessee proposed a superdelegate primary in June in order to cut the losses of a long and brutal fight for the nomination. This is a great idea considering that the superdelegates will decide this nomination anyways. Its not like anything will happen between the last primary in June and the convention in August that would be significant to the "INDEPENDENT" choice of each superdelegate. I don't know why it takes ideas from everyone in the party before the DNC takes initiative and actually takes action. In addition to the Florida and Michigan debacle, this long battle has really illustrated Howard Dean's failure as leader of the DNC.

And on another note, I watched Phil Bredsen on Lou Dobbs tonight and I think he may have given a veiled endorsement of Hillary Clinton. I am deriving this theory from a quote by Phil Bredsen saying, "Hope is not a strategy". Considering Obama's campaign is based in good part on hope I think Gov. Bredsen's statement might veil his opinion that Obama is all about the rhetoric of hope and not solid solutions. Watch his interview and see what you think.
